A combined raid of the Ijora 7-Up area of Lagos, by the
military patrol team-OP Mesa and the
Department of State Security, has led to the arrest of a suspected Boko-Haram
member.
A patrol team- OP Mesa have arrested a man suspected to be a
boko haram member at Ijora, Lagos. According to The Nation Newspapers, two AK47
rifles, and some explosive devices were recovered from the suspect, Abdullahi
Adamu. Surprisingly, the man admitted he is a terrorist.
The Oba of Ijora communitY, Oba Fatai Ojora who was notified of the development also said;
"We have been calling on the state government to do something about this.
This is the second time we will arrest Boko Haram suspects in this community
and nothing has been done on that. The one we caught now had even admitted that
he is a terrorist. You know that majority of the northerners in Lagos live in
Ijora, Agege and Badia."
