The leadership of GAYGA led by her President Comr. Okolie Valentine Ebuka visited the family to commiserate and sympathise with them and indeed the youth over the incidence and was happily received by the mother who thanked us and said he is doing well and responding fine to treatments.

While speaking, the President in his words said said "We are pained and touched by this incident. Oti Nwakpa and Ifeanyi Izuchukwu are ours and what we've come here to do is to show solidarity, concern and love for ours.

The President commended all security agencies for the quick and prompt response, the State government for inaugurating the land/boundary committee headed by the Deputy Chairman of Aninri Hon. Okechukwu Bamidele Ndukwe,  youths/youth leaders and the traditional institution for the continued peace, urging them that before now we've drawn the attention of those concerned as regard the boundary dispute and several other boundary dispute within Aninri and would continue to do that until justice is restored.

We are by this calling on the Enugu State government led by the peaceful Governor H.E Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to call his counterpart in Ebonyi state and indeed the boundary committee that in the coming days we would love to see a systematic, working and pragmatic approach to resolving this dispute.

Also we are by this urging all the youths of Okpanku and Aninri by extension to remain calm, continue with their daily activities even as the committee swing into action and on our part we would continue to engage necessary authorities and stakeholders to see to this matter.
