Enugu Progressive Forum (EPF) Presents The Number 1 Citizen Of Enugu State And Also The Omeruora 1 In Enugu State.
Hon. Edu Dominion the Director General of Enugu Progressive Forum (EPF) calls His Excellency Governor Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi the number 1 citizen of Enugu State and also the Omeruora 1 in Enugu State.
He further stated that His Excellency RT. Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is the heart beat of Enugu State, a man of his words and the light of Enugu State because he had done more than expected, also saying that he is appreciating him because he deserves to be appreciated.
Here comes the highlights of Governor Ugwuanyi's five years giant long steps in Enugu state.
To start with construction and rehabilitated of over 600km of roads across the state, mostly in rural areas, which includes:_
(1) The rehabilitation and remodelled of the ancient, historic and undulating 11km Milliken Hill-Ngwo-9th Mile road.
(2) Construction of the 12km Opi-Nsukka dual carriageway up to the university of Nigeria (UNN) gate.
(3) Construction of the Ebonyi River bridge, Ikem.
(4) Construction of the 31km Udenu Ring road with two high-tech Bridges.
(5) Iva Valley roads in Enugu North Local Government Area.
(6) Construction of the 8.8km Nkalagu-Eha Amufu road in Isi-Uzo Local Government Area abandoned for over 35years.
(7) Construction of the 26.66km Ukpabi-Nimbo- Ugbene Ajima-Eziani road in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area.
(8) Construction of the 22.443km Neke-Mbu-Ogbodu Aba-Obollo Etiti inter- community road linking Isi-Uzo and Udenu Local Government Areas.
(9) Construction of the 13km Nike Lake junction, Harmony Estate-Amorji Nike-Adoration pilgrimage center Orie Emene road linking up to the ever-busy Abakpa Nike with Emene satellite town in Enugu East Local Government Area.
(10) Reconstruction of the Nike Lake road and Abakpa Nike road in Enugu East Local Government Area which were marred by traffic gridlock in the past.
(11) Construction of the Amaeke-Ngwo-9th Mile and Amankwo-Amaeke-Amah Brewery junction 9th mile by passes in Udi Local Government Area.
(12) Reconstruction of the Airport Roundabout and Orie Emene/St. Patrick's college/Eke-Obinagu Road in Enugu East Local Government Area.
(13) Reconstruction of the Enugu road junction-Umueze-Nru junction-University gate road Nsukka, the post office roundabout-Odenigbo roundabout-Ogurugu road, Ikenga road and the Obechara road junction Umakashi mechanic village Ikenga hotel junction road, all in the university town in Nsukka.
(14) Construction of the 8.2km Inyi-Akpugoeze road in Orji River Local Government Area.
(15) Construction of the Ituku road in Awgu Local Government Area and the Amurri road in Nkanu West Local Government.
Moreover, Gburu Gburu The Number 1 Citizen Of Enugu State Simultaneously Executed 35 grassroots development projects across the seventeen (17) Local Government Areas in Enugu State.
(1) Rehabilitation of the old UNTH Bunker road in Enugu.
(2) Construction of the Holy Trinity street Bishop Michael Eneje street Independence layout Enugu.
(3) Mount Crescent GRA Orofia street off Nza street in Independence layout Enugu.
(4) Dental school Tipper garage road TransEkulu Enugu.
(5) Ugwuaji-Lomalinda-Timber Shed road Maryland Enugu.
(6) Nwafia street Independence layout Enugu.
(7) Mbanefo street Newhaven Enugu.
(8) The Secretariat road GRA Enugu.
(9) Court Avenue by new State Secretariat Ibuza street in Independence layout Enugu.
(10) Isi-Uzo street in Independence layout Enugu.
(11) Owerri road, Poly Clinic road Asata, Carter street, off Ogui road Enugu etc.
