The people of Mgbagbu Owa community in Ezeagu local government area in Enugu state are filled with joy and happiness following the solar street lights project executed in the community by one of their own Barr. Mrs Adanma Ode (O di uko na mba).
The solar powered street light which covers over 1KM has made night movement safer for the good people of Mgbagbu Owa. The people of Mgbagbu Owa are known for their striving spirit, most of them are dedicated Christians, and they are one the most developed communities in Ezeagu Local Government Area. The light which comes on at about 6:40pm shines through the night.
The people of the community expressed their happiness for such a gesture. The Chief Security Officer, Mr Chidozie Mathew Chidozie of the community said the street light has helped in curbing criminal activities and maintaining peace and order in the community. He also urged other well meaning sons and daughters of the community to emulate her good work.
