Igwe MacAnthony Okonkwo marked the yuletide season in high spirit as he held a five day non-stop Christmas party for his subjects and friends who all gathered to celebrate and thank God almighty for a fruitful 2014. A quick glance at the Umuokwu palace of the esteemed monarch will show you a multitude of people who joyously spend almost the whole day dining and winning to the glory of God who firstly, made a young vibrant man in the person of Chinedu Okonkwo their royal father and for guiding them all through out the previous year.

 The five days party kicked off on the 29th of December 2014, and climaxed on the 2nd of January with notable dignitaries in attendance. Among the dignitaries who were present at the palace of Igwe Okonkwo included, Prince Engr. Arthur Eze (OzoIgboNdu), Chief Emeka Momah Eze, the director general of BPP popularly know as the director of due process who also is an indigene of Alor town; also present were Hon. Mrs. Uche Ekwunife, Chief Kodili Okelekwu, members of Alor Peoples Convention, the good people of Alor amongst many friends and well wishers of Ndi Alor.
High point of the occasion was the distribution of Christmas gifts to widows and the less privileged by Igwe MacAnthony Chinedu Okonkwo. Prince Arthur Eze while canvassing for support for The re-election of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, assured Ndi Alor that the President is the best thing that has ever happened to the Igbo race since after the war. He enjoined them to vote massively for the President who in no distant time will pay Alor town a visit.

Prince Eze also gave out a cheque of 10million Naira for the needy, less privileged and the youths that gathered in his honour, he gave another 10million Naira to the Alor Peoples Convention(APC), and finally made a whooping donation of One Hundred Million Naira(100million) for the construction of a befitting palace for Igwe MacAnthony Chinedu Elibe Okonkwo whom he described as a first class traditional ruler and a bosom friend.
