Curchods A property has come up for sale which but has a bizarre hidden feature – the previous owners are buried in the back garden.
The four-bedroom house in Teddington in London is listed for an attractive 1.070745 million dollars but many will be put off by the ‘added housemates.’
According to the Curchods listing: “It is important to note that the previous owners last wishes were to be buried in this garden, which is where both currently rest.”
The house is one of three believed to have been built way back in 1875, and could have started out life as a pub.
It is in need of renovation but boasts four reception rooms, an independent bathroom and two rooms at the rear which could be used as a store room and utility.
The large garden – complete with the added extras – is 15 meters deep and is described as having “significant width”.

What lies beneath: Some may be put off by the extra housemates in the garden Curchods
“We are getting a lot of interest in this property since it came to the market a few days ago,” says Curchods’ Graeme Wadhams.
“Upon finding out about the ‘bodies in the garden’ the majority of people we speak to don’t seem to have a problem with it.
“Some have even commented ‘it must have been a happy home for the previous owners to want to be buried there’ so would happily entertain living their too.”
