The Daughters of Divine Love juniorate have issued a sack letter to all the teachers working under them. This is as a result of the shutdown on all academic activities by the federal government due to the corona virus pandemic in the country.
Daughters of Divine Love juniorate is a Catholic Rev Sisters Congregation that its headquarter is in Abakpa Nike Enugu State. They are one of the richest congregations when you talk about Rev Sisters.
Why they are sacking all their teachers in this hour of mercy is what I don't understand. Many private schools are yet to sack their workers, so why is DDL doing this?
I plead with the Bishop of Enugu Diocese to please look into this and call back these teachers that are passing through emotional trauma already. DDL should lead by example.
They should be the ones preaching against this, not otherwise. Some of the teachers which I can't mention their names here have been crying all through yesterday which prompted my writing this.
Please help and share this till it gets to the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese.
