August 21st, 2020 was indeed a happy day to the entire Enugu North and South Federal Constituency as the member representing them in the House of Representative, Hon. Ofor Chukwuegbo shared palliatives worth millions of Naira to some lucky people in his constituency.
This is actually my first time of hearing that an Honourable member shared palliatives that costs this much. The people of Enugu North and South are indeed lucky to have Hon Ofor Chukwuegbo as member representing them in the House of Representative.
At least 26 persons were given a Tricycle each to cater for their life and that of their families. One can measure the amount of joy in their hearts by just looking at their facial expression. They never saw it coming.
These beneficiaries are not the first batch of the group planned by Hon. Chukwuegbo as business empowerment for deserving constituents. Those who got gifts of tricycles this morning included two visually impaired citizens, Messrs Aniagu Purpose Okechukwu, and Sunday Egbo.
Hadjia Hadiza Mohammed, a Hausa political activist from Garki, urban area of Enugu, also got a tricycle.
The founder of Enugu Progressive Forum (EPF) by name Hon Edu Dominion while congratulating the beneficiaries also showers praises on Hon Ofor Chukwuegbo. He thanked him for this kind of generosity towards his people and the people of Enugu State at large.
The core mandate of Enugu Progressive Forum (EPF) is to synergize with the government and good spirited citizens to improve the polity and development of the state, they also prioritize human capital development and humanitarian services, cause they believe the duo are the bedrock of any meaningful and impactful societal change of any state.
Hon. Chukwuegbo who came in from Abuja midway into the exercise, was nearly mobbed by excited beneficiaries who prayed and sang his praises and danced enthusiastically.
This is not the first time Hon Ofor Chukwuegbo would raise needy constituents with tricycles. He had also given out several vehicles to other citizens a while ago.
Let's pray that many other politicians will emulate his pattern of representation.
