The Corona-Virus Pandemic destroyed many plans this year. It is among the things I can't pray to happen my enemy, not to talk about my friends. It destroyed futures, it also brought famine to the world as all activities was shut down.
Students are among the most affected by the Pandemic. Some students could have graduated by now, but due to the Pandemic they are still answering students while at home. It came at a time where many students prayed to at least go out and exercise their bodies.
These students' prayers were answered in Enugu State when the highest student body in the country by names National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Enugu State Chapter started the NANS Stay Fit Initiative.
All thanks to Comrade Romanus Ngene (The NANS JCC Chairman Enugu State) and his executives for this wonderful initiative to help exercise the students of Enugu State both physically and mentally because staying indoors has done more harm than good for most students in the state.
Below are some pictures from the NANS Enugu Stay Fit Initiative. You can agree with me that they adhere to all the protective measures outlined by NCDC. They have Medical Team that checks your temperature before you enter the venue.
More are yet to come this August as Comrade Sopuruchi Gift Rufus (The Director of Entertainment NANS Enugu) will be taking the Stay Fit Initiative to another level. She has introduced more games like the Marathon Race, Inter Campus Football Team, Relay Race, Thug Of War etc.
NANS Enugu is united and I urge other students bodies in the country to emulate them. They shared palliatives to the students of Enugu State and to the general public. They also went round to educate people on how to Stay Safe during the unset of the corona virus pandemic.
